I love traveling, in and out the boarders of South Africa. Museums aren’t my thing unless they are out of the ordinary. Sight seeing and getting lost is the best way to see and experience a brand new place.

Photo Diary – Addo Elephant Park

A couple of months ago we visited the Addo Elephant park in the Eastern Cape. I never got around to sharing some of the shots we took and I stumbled upon them over the weekend. We spent 2 days driving around the park, unfortunately we couldn’t find lions but we got to see many…

This will however be my very first time…

    Trip to Nieu Bethesda

On the 20th of February we took a family trip to the picturesque little town in the Karoo called Nieu Bethesda.  It’s a good 4 plus hour dive from Wilderness and we tried to leave super early, without success I might add!  Traveling with your grandmother that is a month away from turning 89 is no child’s play.  We packed a good old fashioned “padkos” basket and had breakfast just after Union dale. We took a peep at the Wonderboom as well. I prepared some mini quiche Lorraine, my mother and I made a meat loaf, Tamryn baked us some…
