{Update} Laser Hair Removal with Glo Laser & Beauty

Good day my lovelies. If you’ve been keeping up with that’s been happening on the blog you would know that I recently went to Glo Laser & Beauty for a consultation for laser hair removal on my face. Read about it here. You can read all about that over here. On the 24th of September I went for my first laser session and this is everything you need to know.

Isn’t Raul the Glo mascot just the cutest?! I want to take him home with me

Before Laser Hair Removal

At least 4 weeks before going for a laser hair removal session don’t wax or tweeze any hair on the area to be lasered. If you shave the area don’t shave for at least 2 days before your session.

What to expect at Glo Laser & Beauty

Glo Laser & Beauty uses “The Soprano ice” and it offers “Pain-Free, Hair-Free™” Laser Hair Removal treatment. The breakthrough, revolutionary technology has been described as one of the most comfortable hair removal options available. This machine starts out very cold and heats up gradually and before it’s hot enough to be painful your session is done. I did feel a bit of “prickling” like hair being pulled with tweezers but it wasn’t that sore.

Your skin can feel like you sat in the song a bit too long but the therapist applies a gel afterwards that works like an after sun lotion.

What I noticed after my session

Between the test patch and the first session I noticed a decrease in the density of the hair. After the entire area was done and now 2 weeks later I notice that the hair grows back much slower than before and that’s already a big plus. I can’t wait for my next session in another 2 weeks!

Don’t forget you can book a free consultation and test patch on their website!
