What’s in my makeup bag?

Hi guys! I always love reading other blogger’s posts about what is in their makeup and handbags and until recently I’ve been working from home so I’ve never really had the use for a fully loaded makeup bag, but now that I’m a 8 – 5 working girl I’ve realized how easily a makeup bag gets filled to the point of the zipper not being able to zip!

So in the month and a half I’ve been working I’ve accumulated quite a collection in my pretty makeup bag that I got from my friend Melissa from Pretty Messy Melon, you know, just for in case, so let’s find out what I’m hoarding in there.

What's in my makeup bag

I never even realized until unpacking my makeup bag how many Rimmel products I’ve stuffed into my little bag. I have a Rimmel Wonder’full mascara with argan oil, this is one of my all time favourite mascaras. The formula doesn’t clump at all and nourishes my lashes. Next I have a Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil, this pencil is really soft and I don’t have to push really hard for good colour payoff. The last Rimmel goodie I have in my makeup bag is the Rimmel Provacalips 16 hour kiss proof lip colour in Play With Fire, this lippy really stays on for hours so it’s a must have in my makeup bag.

Moving on to the other two lip products, I have a Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in Demure Réservée which is a lovely nude pink shade with a bit of a shimmer for days I just want a little hint of colour on my lips. The last lippy in my bag is the NYX Butter Gloss in Vanilla Cream Pie, you can read my full review on this lippy here, this is another pink shade for a playful lip.

I have two “rescue” makeup items, first is the Catrice Allround Coverstick in Nude because you never know when a face monster will attack. The Essie apricot cuticle oil comes to my rescue very often, I wash my hands quite frequently and this dries out my cuticles, I try to apply the cuticle oil as often as possible and it really makes a huge difference with my nail health.

Last but not least I have an Almay intense i-color trio for those little touch ups we need from time to time and a mirror for when going to the restroom isn’t an option!

What is some of your holy grail makeup bag items? And what am I missing in my makeup bag? Leave me a comment and let me know!
