{Review} L’Oréal Lip Colours

Day two of Beauty Bulletin week and I’m diving into some lovely L’Oreal lip products that I won about 2 months ago, some were hits and some where misses with my skin tone but that doesn’t change how amazing the lippies are.

Let’s start with the L’Oreal Colour Riche Lipsticks, this range includes matte and satin finishes, all super-pigmented and containing plant-based oils to care for the lips. I received two, one in the shade 703 Oud Obsession and one in 376 Cassis Passion. Oud Obsession is a darker vampy colour, I’m not a huge fan of this shade so I’m passing on to a friend. Cassis Passion on the other hand is a pinkish red, I’m totally obsessed with this shade and I think for the first time in my life I will finish a lipstick.

Both shades have incredible colour payoff and the creamy formula just glides onto my lips for a smooth vibrant finish, these both have a satin finish as well and it looks amazing. The lipsticks are long lasting and hydrates my lips extremely well. The design of the bullets has a really sleek feel and they retail for R155 at Clicks and Dischem stores.

Next up I have the L’Oreal Colour Riche Extraordinaire Lip Lacquer, these has been developed with nourishing micro oils, due to the micro oils, these lip lacquers enhance shine, reflect light and moisturise lips. I received this in 601 Nude Ballet and 401 Fuschia Drama. Nude Ballet is a nude shade and I find it a little light for my complexion (I look strangely like I have no lips) Fuschia Drama is a vibrant pink shade and I’m totally smitten with it.

The pigmentation on these lacquers are really nice and I love the long-lasting shine. My lips feel hydrated the entire time I coat my lips and they colour stays pretty for hours. The applicator allows for easy application and the design of the tubes gives these a super sleek feel. They retail for R169.95 at Dischem and Clicks stores.

Last but not least I have the L’Oreal Infallible Mega Gloss. This gloss contains hydrating hyaluronic enriched acid and shine colour pigments, it is available in matte, neon, dazzle, extreme and a cream finish. The lip-shaped applicator allows for flawless application. I got this in the shade 407, Smoke Me Up, this is a matte finish, personally I’m in love with this deep red shade.

The lip shaped applicator is extremely easy to use and helps me achieve the perfect application. This gloss dries fast leaving an amazing matte finish that lasts nearly all day. I am always scared of matte lip products leaving my lips feeling dry but with this baby it’s not the case! These retail for R149.95 from Dischem and Clicks stores.

Loving my lips thanks to L’Oréal!
