My favourite Lip Shades for Spring

Hi ladies! It feels so unreal that we are already 3 weeks into spring and I haven’t even done any spring related posts, but, that is about to change right here as I will be showing you guys some of my favourite lip products for the season.

Even though I love a bright bold lipstick I personally tend to gravitate more towards lip gloss as I’m one of those people who just can’t remember to re-apply and check my lips throughout the day and when a gloss worn off you are not walking around with faded lips or lipsticks that are halfway off. But don’t get me wrong, I still love a pretty lipstick, I just keep those for days where my lips don’t have to be perfect all day long.

Spring Lip Colours

First off we have the NYX Butter Glosses that I reviewed last week in the shades Vanilla Cream Pie and Merengue. These are two gorgeous pink shades that goes so well for spring and they just sit perfectly on my lips, make sure you check out the full review here.

Next I have two Elizabeth Arden lip glosses in the shades Passion Fruit and Precious Petal, two fabulous shades, Passion Fruit is a lovely pink shade with hint of shimmer and Precious Petal is a precious peach shade with a hint of shimmer as well. These two lip glosses  both apply really easily with none of the stickiness you sometimes get with glosses. They last for a couple of hours and need to be re-applied.

From L’Oréal I have two of their lip lacquers, a pink and nude shade, these I received from Beauty Bulletin as an extra special treat for video reviewing L’Oréal skincare products. Fuschia Drama is a bright pink shade with a shiny wet look, and Nude Ballet is a pale dirty pink and the name suits it so well because you really think of ballet slippers when seeing the shade. These glide on so well and stay on for a good couple of hours before needing re-application. I will have full reviews up on these on Beauty Bulletin within the next week or two!

Last but not least I have the Gosh Forever lip shine in spring fling that I received from Gosh. This crayon looking lippy is a gorgeous intense red shade with amazing staying power. Look out for a full review on this puppy within the next week!
