Tuesday Treasure with Sormé Cosmetics

Happy Tuesday ladies! I know I’ve skipped a treasure or two but I didn’t come across anything exciting to share with you, but now I’ve found something eye catching again and this week I introduce to you Sormé Cosmetics. According to their website Sormé is an Egyptian word referring to that black ‘kohl’ substance queens and princesses would apply around their eyes, made famous by Cleopatra of course.

About the brand
Sormè is global brand with presence in the U.S, Canada, Central and South America, Asia, the Middle East, 12 European Countries and is now in South Africa! They are an award winning makeup line and a regular on the pages of industry magazines such as Beauty Baunchpad, Dayspa and Dersmascope and other magazines like People and Allure. Their products are known and used by celebrity makeup artists and stylists as their ‘secret weapon’ to create their vision of glowing skin, pouty lips and captivating eyes and is the makeup of choice for top Hollywood film studios and celebrities. The brand is cruelty free too and right here they have me hook line and sinker.

The products are formulated with natural botanicals such as aloe, cucumber, green tea, comfrey, and shea butter to name a few and the line also utilises vitamins and minerals to nurture and enrich the skin, it just sounds like a daily spa treatment to me!

Here are some of the products that’s made an impression on me from their website:

Always Perfect Brows Kit
As you guys have seen from pictures of me, my brows need a lot of helpm they are super sparse, especially towards the outer corners, so this kit immediately caught my eye. It promises to make sparse, faint, or over-tweezed brows look fabulous! The kit contains three shaping stencils, one powder brow colour and brush to easily create the look of fuller, healthier brows. RSP R299.

Extreme Volumizing Mascara
Mascara is my weak spot and that one makeup product I can’t live without, so finding the next great mascara is always exciting. This mascara promises the thickest, lushest looking lashes ever it defines and separates lashes as it strengthens and conditions with hyaluronic acid, aloe aera, and vitamin E and it has a smudge and smear resistant formula. RSP R239.

Mineral Botanicals Eyeshadow
I’m always on the hunt for good and highly pigmented eyeshadow that won’t irritate my contact lenses, these eyeshadows are  fragrance, paraben and silicone free and sounds like they will do the trick. The luscious velvety textured formula of this eyeshadow promises to pamper delicate skin with hydrating vitamin E as it protects with antioxident pomegranate and white tea with vVivid or muted colours that easily blends for long lasting, fade and crease-resistant wear. RSP R259.

Shimmer Glow Wand
This is definitely one of the most interesting finds from the Sormé range and is a mineral powder in a tube with a built in applicator brush – all in one! It promises a sparkling mineral powder that catches the sun’s rays for super allure on face, décolleté, all over the body. This one is ideal for traveling and popping into your handbag for secret bathroom touch ups. RSP R329.

Lip Thick® Pluming Lip Gloss
I found this lip gloss really intriguing as it promises you a fuller pout without any injections – Maxi-Lip® peptide stimulates natural collagen to increase lip fullness up to 40% in 30 days*. Fruit acids, aloe vera, and vitamins A & K smooth lip lines and hydrate to keep lips kissing smooth. RSP R249.

These are just some products from the huge range of goodies from the Sormé online store, there is a full set of makeup brushes, lipsticks and liners, eyeliners and much more to make any makeup addict get twinkles in the eyes! But don’t take my word for it, go have a looksie….
